Tested storage solutions for your caravan and camping adventures

Fusion Loc Caravan Storage

Caravan and camping storage is about more than just a place for everything and keeping everything in its place. There’s an awful lot of jostling, bumps, and turns that can happen between home and your favorite caravan park. Not to mention the pandemonium that can happen in your caravan cupboards from just a few moments of fishtailing.

The right storage system also helps maximize the living space inside your tent or caravan. When loose items and clutter don’t have a proper place, they can take precious time away from your camping experience and even get someone hurt!

It seems clear that whether you’re tent camping or taking your caravan on holiday, you need a system of organizing that keeps things safe in transit, as well as easy to find when you finally do set up camp.

Your storage needs will likely change in the winter or camping off-season. Especially if you need to put your caravan and other camping gear in long-term storage.

Camping storage boxes and trunks are a great way to transport bulk goods or hold onto camping gear when you aren’t actively using it. The best camping storage boxes have reinforced corners and heavy-duty lids that make it easy to stack them. Bonus points if it has a way for you to easily label what’s inside it.

Collapsible storage containers are handy for long trips and bush camping. You might start out with a lot of provisions, that dwindle over time. When it comes time to consolidate your camping supplies, the partially empty storage container collapses down to save space.

Some storage boxes are even built with doors or drawers that let them double as makeshift cabinets. This is great for tent camping or organizing a caravan that’s sparse on functional storage. Below are out go-to options:

The Fusion-Loc system is also a great way to secure baskets, open containers and hangers just about anywhere. All without having to make major structural changes to the interior walls of your caravan.

Hanging pocket systems are also a great way to maximize the camping storage space behind doors and inside cupboards. A lot of them can be suspended from the ceiling of a tent to create a vertical organization system.

Camping Tables with Storage

A good portable table with storage is a great place to store kitchen camping supplies, and other camping essentials. It’s a place to set your camping stove and keep all your condiments close at hand. It’s also a place to give children their own desk space to organise their toys and art supplies. You could even set one up to be a nightstand next to a stretcher bed.

Ideally, you want to prioritise a camping storage table with telescoping, adjustable legs, which let you set it to the height you want. Storage bins with doors or zips keep loose items from spilling out. A cardboard floor inside cloth or canvas pouches also helps stand up condiment bottles and other flat-bottom items.
